Alana’s journey is rooted in her values and resilience cultivated while growing up in rural Pictou County, Nova Scotia. After earning her Bachelor of Science from Dalhousie University, she deepened her understanding of business strategy and leadership through an MBA from the Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary’s University in 2015. 

Her career began in Fort McMurray, Alberta at Suncor. There, she honed her ability to identify and implement operational efficiencies and cost-saving initiatives in complex, high-stakes environments. This experience laid the foundation for her transition into the financial services industry, where in the last five years she has been applying her analytical and strategic skills to help professionals, and their families achieve their financial goals. She is passionate about empowering clients to make informed financial decisions with confidence. 

Outside of work, Alana can often be found exploring the great outdoors both locally and around the world with her partner Dan, through hiking, biking, snowboarding, or camping. She also loves trying new restaurants, cooking, hosting gatherings, and spending time with her two cats, Rocky and Cheeto.
